Luna's Americana Membres is inspired by American Southwestern Mimbres classic black-on-white pottery. Rabbits are common symbols of the moon in the Southwest North America and Central America. The "rabbit on the moon" fretmarker was taken from a pottery bowl. The jagged triangular motif around the sound hole recalls lightning and is also based on an ancient bowl design.
