Chris started out on drums and when asked when he knew he wanted to play the guitar he reveals it was at 15 when he was watching the David Letterman Show. He reveals, "It was a school night. This man wore pajama pants just like I was wearing for bed... only he wore them on TV. He had all these other guys in the band that looked like normal dudes just jamming and having fun. But to me they looked so much cooler than that.
I fell in love with the sound, the vibe, the whole package. I never realized how much Dave Matthews Band had influence on my music career. If I could get one chance before I die, it'd be to share the stage with Dave. So with that I became addicted to the guitar. I wanted to riff like him and jam like him."
Chris's family is also musically inclined. "My mother plays guitar and sings a-lot, She toured all over when I was a little guy. My Little brother is one mean percussionist! He's only Eleven and tears it up! The ladies really dig him too ;-)"
When asked if he had to sacrifice anything to pursue his musical career, Chris had this to say: "All the time, but standing up on a stage with people feeling what you feel and enjoying the heck out of their night makes up for it all!You lose friends , you lose touch... You lose focus sometimes... but in the end you're always where you need to be if you keep trying."
