The Diverse World of Luna GuitarsLuna Guitars supports the imaginative application of music to benefit girls and boys, women and men, and society as a whole. We joyfully embrace our role as a responsible citizen of our world. We will help advance that world by participating in and supporting causes that empower and affirm guitar players of all ages, thus enabling them to realize their full potential as integral individuals who elevate and contribute to the well being of our world. The paragraph above concludes Luna Guitars' mission statement. Our company was founded on a philosophy of inclusion and we delight in reaching out to guitar players everywhere. As you may know, we initially set out to design guitars specifically for women and girls. But when the guys found out how great Luna's instruments looked, how comfortably they play and how well they're made, we began seeing a lot of Luna guitars going home with male owners. We welcomed the guys and expanded our mission to include not just female players, but all guitar players. Something else that's great is that Luna instruments have been enthusiastically embraced by musicians from a wide variety of genres. We have folk rockers, alternative rockers, garage rockers, Celtic musicians, world music players, Latin fusion guitarists, blues musicians, country players and metal bands. You need look no further than the amazing lineup of Luna Artists to see the diverse group of musicians who love their Lunas. We couldn't be happier! What better reflection could there be of Luna's philosophy than the smiling faces of our artists and owners? Although we don't include addresses in the bios you'll read on the Luna Web site, it's readily apparent from their bios that our artists and players come from the four corners of the globe. Below, you'll see just a few of the super musicians who've joined our exclusive group of Luna artists. You can learn more about them and see the faces of Luna owners, visitors to our displays at the NAMM shows, our company team members and all the other wonderful people who greet Luna Guitars wherever we go - online or in person. So when you pick up your Luna guitar, don't be surprised if you begin to feel boundaries fall away. Boundaries that limit creativity and that separate us as human beings. At Luna, we love to welcome new members to our family - to our amazing world of diverse and beautiful instruments, diverse and beautiful people. Come and share Luna's unique vision of a world linked by the joy and power of creativity and music!

On My Drawing BoardA
message from Yvonne de Villiers
Where
there is cultural diversity, music is the binding factor.
We
at Luna are committed to designing instruments that will appeal to a
variety of players and we celebrate the cultural and musical diversity
of our Luna artists.
From
metal to mythic, music is the constant backdrop to our lives that
allows our souls and bodies to respond, reboot and rejuvenate. Music
is called the universal language because it is made up of seven main
notes. No matter what instrument you are playing, from what musical
tradition, there is an underlying architecture to music ... a
framework, and something deep within us that responds. Enjoy these
musical quotations, and check out our new artists!
Shine On! Yvonne "I have my own
particular sorrows, loves, delights; and you have yours. But sorrow,
gladness, yearning, hope, love, belong to all of us, in all times and
in all places.
"I'd
like to get something together - like a Handel, Bach, Muddy
Waters, "...

We
Have a Winner! Presented
by Luna Guitars and Venus Magazine Congratulations to Jeanine O'Toole of Chicago who's the proud new owner of an Andromeda Phoenix electric guitar, compliments of Luna Guitars and Venus Magazine – the publication about women in music, art, film, fashion and culture. The
Andromeda Phoenix is a breathtaking beauty that packs awesome sound
power into a super lightweight body that features Luna's trademark
play-all-night-in-comfort engineering. The sleek Phoenix unfolds her
legendary wings in iridescent abalone on a background of glossy ebony. A symbol
of rebirth in ancient societies, the image of the phoenix represents beauty, power, vision and
inspiration. Rock on, Jeanine!
