Imagine: Luna's Student Guitar Inspires Music and Artistry

If you're thinking ahead to the holidays and hoping to gift a special child on your list with something that encourages them to think and be creative, doesn't involve sitting in front of a TV or computer for hours on end, won't gobble batteries endlessly, and is actually - gulp! - affordable... Luna's innovative "Imagine" student guitar is the perfect choice.

Once the artwork is dry, it'll stay in place under normal playing conditions. But when it's time for a new look, the guitar wipes clean with a damp cloth and the slate is blank again, ready for your next artistic inspiration. It makes a great gift for kids and a wonderfully fun way for grown-ups and kids to interact by creating designs for the guitar together."

Luna's Aurora line of student guitars also features a selection of brightly hued models, including the fanciful Mermaid, a charming instrument brought to life by the work of Florida artist Mary Ann DiNella. The petite dreadnought body style finished in Aqua Splash provides the perfect background for a lively game of tag between a bubbly mermaid and her turtle pal. Luna's crescent moon at the soundhole and our signature moon phase fret markers make the Mermaid a favorite beginners' guitar.

At Luna, we are always interested in your requests. Many of you have written requesting official Luna accessories, and we are happy to announce our new Luna "Shoppe" feature which will be online very soon. We hope to add many unique offerings to the "Shoppe" as it evolves and have started with the most-requested items. Here are a few highlights:

Mini Size, Mighty Sound!

Because Luna's Pandora Mini guitar and bass are SO different from most instruments out there in the music world, our staff receives lots of comments and questions about them. Have you seen the petite pair yet? If not, check 'em out at www.lunaguitars.com. Go ahead...we'll wait for you.

What's really amazing about the Mini guitar and  bass is that these aren't built for kids - even though they're the perfect size for small hands. Oh sure, Luna's youngest players just love them. But so do the big kids...er, adults. Perfectly proportioned and fully outfitted with many of the same sound-packing features found on the full size Pandoras, the Minis are as much fun to play as they are to look at. And audiences will be looking, all right. One of the most frequent comments we receive from Mini owners is how attention-grabbing these guitars are. The Mini guitar and bass are constructed of super lightweight paulownia wood and have rosewood fingerboards over maple necks. A humbucking pickup delivers plenty of sound power on the guitar, and a soapbar pickup is featured on the bass.
